After enjoying two careers, first in educational publishing, then as an antiques dealer, Peggy retired to Tucson, Arizona and followed her dream of becoming a visual artist. She specializes in large, colorful abstract paintings created from layers of colors, textures, shapes and intensities of acrylic paints and mixed media enhanced with handmade papers and found objects. Peggy is a member of SAAG (Southern Arizona ArtsGuild), CASA (Contemporary Artists of Southern Arizona), and Fine Art America. She has won numerous awards in local and international art exhibits. Her work can be seen at the SAAG Gallery in Tucson, in BLINK art resource magazine, ADC Gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio, and in institutions and residences around the country.
