Narrie Toole’s impressions of wildlife, ranch animals and individuals are mystical, respectful journeys filled with color and emotion.
Her work has been used for magazine covers, is internationally collected and found in corporate and widespread private collections.
"Growing up in western Kansas gave me something few have nowadays… a chance to live the life of a cowgirl. Years of “reading” livestock and wildlife taught me attention to detail…that I apply to my paintings. I use the same with people. My impressionistic western oils generally employ an under-painting prior to the finished work. I enjoy the use of color and a clear palette.
